1Navigate to the Sign-Up Page
Start by visiting the Film Chronicle homepage and clicking the "Sign Up" button in the top navigation bar.

2Choose Your Sign-Up Method
Film Chronicle offers three convenient ways to create your account:
Create an account with your email address and a secure password.

For Developers3Fill Out Your Information
If you chose email sign-up, you'll need to provide:
- Email address: This will be your username and where we send important updates
- Password: Choose a strong password with at least 8 characters
- First and Last Name: Used for your public profile
- How you heard about us: Optional, helps us improve
Password Security:
Use a unique password that includes uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters for maximum security.
4Verify Your Email
After submitting your information, you'll receive a verification email within a few minutes.
- Check your email inbox (and spam folder)
- Look for an email from "noreply@filmchronicle.com"
- Click the "Verify Email Address" button in the email
- You'll be redirected back to Film Chronicle

Congratulations! Your account is now active. You'll be automatically signed in and taken to your dashboard where you can:
- Complete your profile with additional information
- Upload your first film
- Explore the community and discover other filmmakers
- Customize your account settings
